We are based in North Cardiff just off the M4 J32 (Coryton) (4mins).

 

With Taffs Well train station just at the bottom of the hill, we're easy to find no matter where u are traveling from

Q. What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive approximately 20 minutes beforehand. 4x4 Driving school will welcome you with light refreshments and there will be a short safety briefing with our guides.

Q. What do I need to wear?

We care for our customer's safety and well-being, therefore it is recommended that all guests wear sensible clothes and footwear to our site. The 4x4 Driving school is in its nature on a very rugged terrain. A decent pair of boots & rain jacket that you don't mind getting muddy are essential!

Q. Do I need to bring my driving licence?

No

drivers licenses arnt required. please bear in mind its an extreme driving activity. so some driving skills are important.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be accepted 72 hours Before the Date and time booked 

How long will I have to use my voucher?

All of our vouchers are valid for 6 months and you must book a session date and use your experience before your voucher expires. 

Can I extend my voucher?

Some valid vouchers can be extended to 9 months. This is subject to a £20 administration fee. Restrictions will apply to promotional products and charges may vary.

what if i cant make it?

We can make amendments or cancellations to your booking any time up to 72 hours prior to your experience start time. last minute cancellations made within 72 hours are seen as forfeiting your voucher. We do allow free name changes so you can give your voucher to someone who is available.    

Can I bring friends and spectators?

You are very welcome to bring along friends and family to watch your experience. There are plenty of places for them to sit and watch and we will help guide them to the very best look out points for those all-important moments.

We dont allow passengers.. both seats in truck are filled with paying customers and every one who gets in the trucks might have a safety briefing and be signed in fully.

PLEASE NOTE: Terrain is very rough under foot, its also on a very steep hill so moving around and following  the group may be tricky and not suited to the young, old or disabled. 

​

What happens if I damage the car?

Nothing at all... our cars are custom built to take on the terrain. you'll soon learn its skill not speed that helps you on the mountain!!

How old do I have to be to drive the car?

There's no Minimum age to be a passneger but you must be over 1.5m tall and fit safely into the seats and harnesses. 

If you are under the age of 18 we will require a legal guardian to sign the disclaimer to enable you to partake in any experience.

the owners may insist on a private session if they deem the young drivers to be to novice to partake with a group booking. 

Are there toilets on site?

Yes: we have a portaloo on site

What happens if there is bad weather?

We very rarely to never cancel a session due to weather. If it snows we change the tyres and get out there and have some fun in the snow! If it's raining great we call it "muddy good fun"
